At Atlantic Family Physicians, we currently accept patients residing in Georgetown, Rehoboth Beach, Lewes and elsewhere throughout Sussex County, Delaware. Substance Use Disorder
Substance misuse takes an enormous toll on those suffering from it. With a 30 percent increase in overdose deaths, Dr. Alarcon’s certification by the American Board of Addiction Medicine means we have the wherewithal to help reduce this trend locally. For cases of opioid addiction, we normally prescribe such Medications for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD) as buprenorphine and naloxone. We also successfully treat many patients suffering from alcohol abuse.
